These are Black-Eyed Beans. They are loaded with nutrients and contain a lot carbohydrates, fiber, and protein. They have significant amounts of copper, magnesium, zinc, potassium, phosphorus, and iron. They are also rich in vitamins such as folate (vitamin B9) and thiamine (vitamin B1).
The black-eyed pea or black-eyed bean is a legume grown throughout the world, for its medium-sized, edible bean. This is a subspecies of the cowpea.
You’ll want to grow these on a trellis of some kind if you are growing these in your garden. 🪴
